What people share with you on SHY is shared in trust. This policy covers exposing someone's private information or conversations.

What violates this policy

• Publishing someone's address, workplace, contact details, or legal name without consent
• Sharing screenshots of private conversations to shame or expose someone
• Threatening to reveal private information

What does not

• Sharing your own information at your own judgment
• Reporting concerning conversations to SHY — reports are confidential

Enforcement

Doxxing draws suspension to permanent ban depending on severity; threats to expose are treated as harassment as well. See how enforcement works. Report violations in-app or via Safety; appeals are always available.
